NQ64 is Manchester's ultimate retro arcade & classic console spot

Manchester’s beloved retro arcade and classic console venue, NQ64, has unveiled its grandest version yet, as it moves into a new, spacious home at 12 Tib Street, formerly known as Dive Bar.

The new venue is an impressive four times larger than its previous location.

The colossal space offers abundant booths to hang out in, and also larger table options, making it a perfect spot for both small gatherings and large parties.

With a sprawling outdoor terrace, gamers can now enjoy the gaming action al fresco, accompanied by Hooch slushies and gigantic cocktails.

NQ64’s gaming selection has been taken to new heights, featuring all-time favourites like Guitar Hero, Pac-Man, Street Fighter, and Time Crisis, as well as exciting new additions like ‘Pop-A-Shot,’ a basketball shooting game, and ‘Wall Boy,’ a creative adaptation of the Game Boy into a large screen.

Four-player PacMan has become an instant team favourite, promising thrilling multiplayer gaming experiences for you and the squad to get stuck in to.

Despite the venue’s expansion, NQ64 remains committed to providing accessible gaming opportunities.

Guests can enjoy free play on consoles by simply purchasing a drink, and retro arcade enthusiasts can relish in 15 tokens for just £8 to reign supreme as the Tekken or Mortal Combat champion among friends.

A key highlight of the new NQ64 is the expanded bar menu, featuring an impressive array of game-themed cocktails.

Sip on the Power Star Martini, a passionfruit martini with a twist, or try the Dr Ro Bev Nik, a cherry Old Fashioned.

For fans of Donkey Kong, the Kong Island Iced Tea offers a delightful tribute to the classic game.

“I’m now falling in love with the new location, we’ve created a mad space station outdoor terrace to complement a mega basement space.

“The team have pulled it out the bag, with an upgraded drink offering to compliment what is probably our best game selection to date.

The upgraded drinks offering complements the best game selection the venue has ever seen, ranging from Super Nintento, to GameCube, Dreamcast and more arcade classics.

With nostalgia-inducing childhood snacks like Space Raiders and Monster Munch now catered exclusively for adults, NQ64 promises a trip down memory lane.

Moreover, party enthusiasts can now book the original NQ64 site for private events, which will accommodate up to 120 people.
